For a first-time visit, I would recommend 3 to 4 days in Bangalore. Two days are enough for the main attractions, but the trip can feel rushed because the city is quite spread out.
Day 1 – Historical Bangalore
Start with Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace, Bangalore Fort, KR Market, Basavanagudi and Bull Temple. Keep the evening relaxed and try some local South Indian food.
Day 2 – Parks and Landmarks
Visit Lalbagh Botanical Garden in the morning, followed by Cubbon Park, Vidhana Soudha and Bangalore Palace. You can spend the evening around Church Street or MG Road.
Day 3 – Explore the City
Keep this day more flexible. Explore areas such as Indiranagar, Koramangala or Commercial Street. This is also a good time to try local cafés, restaurants and do some shopping.
If You Have Only 2 Days
Focus on Lalbagh, Cubbon Park, Vidhana Soudha, Bangalore Palace, Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace and Basavanagudi. Skip attractions that are far away or require several hours.
If You Have 4–5 Days
You can explore at a slower pace and add places such as Bannerghatta Biological Park, museums, shopping areas or a nearby day trip.
One important tip: don’t plan too many places across different parts of Bangalore on the same day. Traffic can take up a lot of your sightseeing time.
Overall, 3 days is a good starting point, while 4 days would be more comfortable for someone who wants to experience Bangalore rather than simply tick places off a list.
