Madikeri
This is the district headquarters of Coorg. Sightseeing options in and around this picture-postcard town include Raja's Seat, Abbey Water Falls, Omkareshwara Temple, and Talacauvery - the birthplace of River Cauvery.

Dubare Elephant Camp
A visit to the Dubare Elephant Camp across the river Cauvery, is a half-day programme. Visitors can participate in bathing and feeding the elephants. A specialist in the field provides the visitors with more insight into the life of these fascinating animals. The visit ends with an elephant ride through the forest to a nearby waterhole.

Valnoor Fishing Camp
An angling site famous for Mahseer - the massive game fish. The Mahseer or Tiger of the Indian rivers is one of the largest freshwater game fish and one of the most stubborn fighting fish in the world. It can grow up to an astonishing 5.5 ft. and weigh up to 120 pounds. Valnoor is situated 20 Kms by road from the Resort.

Bylekuppe
Bylekuppe is the second largest Tibetan settlement outside Tibet, complete with a Tibetan monastery with 7,000 monks, a Tibetan village and a flea market. Other places of interest in the vicinity are Chikklihole Reservoir and, Cauvery Nisargadhama.
